Morgan Ellison brings proven, downhill production to Southeastern Louisiana's backfield
Ellison is a sturdy 6-1, 230-pound power back who has shown real efficiency at Southeastern Louisiana, posting 967 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on 188 carries for a 5.1-yard average, while earlier in his career he produced 704 yards and 6 scores as a freshman at Indiana.[7][8] His differentiator is a compact, physical running style that fits short-yardage and volume-based roles, making him a credible fit for teams that want a tough, experienced runner rather than a pure space back.[1][2] The main caveat is availability and role context: he has bounced through pro spring-league stints, so his value is most tied to whether a staff wants reliable between-the-tackles production with veteran ballast.[1][2]
