Experienced FAU offensive lineman with a big-frame, steady-protection profile
David Richards Jr. is a useful depth or competition piece for Florida Atlantic because his value is tied to size, experience, and role reliability rather than flash. FAU’s roster lists him as an offensive lineman, and recruiting/profile sources describe him as a multi-position, physically imposing blocker who has developed through college football’s grind; that usually translates to a player coaches trust to absorb coaching, stay ready, and hold the edge in practice reps. The main appeal is fit and steadiness: he looks like the kind of lineman who can help an offensive line room by being coachable, durable, and assignment-sound.
