Davidson’s 6-2 wing with real two-way upside, but health has been the storyline
Sallie Schutz is a 6-2 G/F for Davidson whose best value comes from her size on the wing, multi-position flexibility, and proven scoring touch; in the 2022-23 season, she averaged 3.5 points per game, played in all 30 games, and made 12 starts, including a career-high nine points on four occasions. Davidson’s roster notes say she missed the 2023-24 season because of injury, so the key question is availability: when healthy, she looks like a tough, versatile fit who can defend bigger guards/forwards and space the floor, but the latest public stats show she’s been more limited than her talent suggests.
