a sturdy North Dakota back with proven burst and depth-chart value
Austin Clemetson brings a compact 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame and has shown he can flash efficiency in limited work, including 16 rushing yards on 3 carries in North Dakota’s 2021 opener against Utah State; his profile suggests a physical, north-south runner who can contribute as a reliable depth piece. He’s the kind of back who fits a team looking for toughness, ball security, and rotational steadiness more than headline-grabbing volume—useful, efficient, and built for contact, even if the stat line hasn’t exploded yet.
