A steady, high-usage Redbird guard with scoring juice and veteran poise
In the 2014-15 season, Daishon Knight led Illinois State at 14.3 points per game while adding 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists, and he was the only Redbird to start all 35 games[1][4]. He profiles as a dependable lead guard who can create offense, get to the line, and give a team toughness and continuity; Illinois State praised his 49 straight starts and team-best 26 double-figure scoring games[5]. The fit? A coach looking for a battle-tested guard who brings production, edge, and reliability would have a hard time not liking him[5].
