Butler's 2014 Tackling DB Machine and PFL Scholar-Athlete Star
JoJo Ciancio, Butler Bulldogs' senior DB captain in 2014, dominated with 84 tackles (9th in PFL, 2nd among DBs at 7.5 tpg), 3 INTs (tied for 10th), and a blocked punt TD return, earning co-PFL Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Academic All-America honors as an economics major. His leadership shone in clutch picks like stopping Wittenberg, blending relentless intensity, football IQ, and academic excellence—ideal for teams seeking a versatile, high-character defender who elevates the secondary.
