Darien Jenkins gives Texas State a seasoned 6-foot-3 guard with efficient shooting pop
Jenkins is a senior guard at Texas State who has shown efficient scoring in limited minutes, including 18 points in 41 minutes on 6-of-13 shooting and 4-of-9 from three in the 2024-25 season, while ESPN listed him at 3.0 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game with 46.2% shooting. His profile suggests a low-usage, spacing-friendly backcourt piece who can stretch the floor and stay ready when called, which matters if your team wants a steady role player rather than a high-volume creator. Based on the available public data, he looks like a compact, shot-making guard rather than a primary ball-dominant engine.[2][4]
