proven McNeese scoring guard with elite 3-point upside
Kapelan is best known as a **high-volume perimeter scorer** for McNeese State, highlighted by a 2011 stretch in which he averaged 28.0 points over two games, hit nine 3-pointers in a game, and was named Southland Player of the Week; that profile points to a guard who can heat up quickly and stretch defenses. His value is clear if you want a confident shooter and shot-maker who can swing a game with scoring bursts, though the available sources are older and do not provide a current-season update or injury context.
