ultra-low-usage Rhode Island forward with a defensive-rebounder profile
In the 2005-06 season, Waseem Givens played sparingly for Rhode Island, appearing in 2 games and producing 1 rebound with no scoring output, so the stat line screams “deep-bench role” more than featured contributor[1][4]. At 6-1, he was an undersized forward, which suggests his value likely came from effort, versatility, and team-first minutes rather than size or shot creation[2][5]. If you’re looking for immediate production, he was not the guy; if you value grit and developmental upside, there’s at least a hint of that profile[1][2].
