Colbert Nelson brings edge-setting production and backfield disruption to Tulsa’s linebacker room
Nelson looks like a physical, versatile defender with a knack for making plays behind the line, pairing linebacker instincts with safety experience from high school and a track record of tackling, sacks, and forced fumbles. Tulsa lists him as a linebacker, and his recruiting profile points to a player who can fit multiple fronts, play with urgency, and help on special teams or depth roles right away. What makes him interesting is not just the stat line, but the blend of toughness, range, and disruptive instincts that usually translates well in a team looking for attitude and assignment discipline.
