Ball-Hawking Safety With Real Defensive Playmaking
Khalil Barnes is a high-impact defensive back whose game is built around range, turnovers, and reliability in coverage: over two college seasons, he has produced 7 interceptions, 71 solo tackles, 28 assists, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery. He is the kind of safety coaches value because he combines production with playmaking instincts rather than just chasing stats, and his 86 overall rating in EA SPORTS College Football 26 reflects that upside. He looks like a strong fit for teams needing a smart, disruptive secondary presence.
