Gary Blackston was Prairie View A&M’s go-to bucket-getter and rebounding guard
In the 2018-19 season, Gary Blackston was a high-usage Prairie View A&M guard who led the Panthers in scoring and rebounding, earned All-SWAC recognition, and was the engine behind their championship run. He brings a rare combo for a guard: scoring punch, physical rebounding, and enough playmaking to punish mismatches. The fit question is easy—if a team wants toughness, shot creation, and a proven big-game competitor, Blackston checks those boxes with flair.
