Power tackle with first-round pedigree and NFL-ready edge
Darnell Wright was a first-round tackle out of Tennessee and is valued for rare size, heavy hands, and the ability to move defenders in the run game while holding up well enough in pass protection. In his 2025 NFL season, PFF credited him with an 85.6 run-blocking grade and a 74.3 pass-blocking grade, which shows a true strength profile rather than a one-dimensional mauler. He also brings proven SEC and NFL experience, but teams should note that penalties and occasional pressure leakage are part of his evaluation.
