Preseason Strong Safety Contender with Elite Instincts
Michael Blazevich, a 6'0", 195-pound defensive back for the Toledo Rockets, is listed as No. 3 at strong safety on the 2016 preseason depth chart, showcasing elite instincts and high-intensity play that distinguish him from peers. Though he did not see game action in 2015, his rapid ascent to a top-three safety spot reflects exceptional football IQ, relentless tackling, and a personality defined by quiet confidence and team-first dedication. His differentiators include preternatural coverage awareness and the ability to read offenses before they develop—traits not captured in stats. With no known injury history and a reputation for intense preparation, Blazevich is a strong fit for teams seeking a reliable, instinct-driven strong safety who elevates the secondary through presence and precision.
