efficient paint anchor for BYU’s front line
In the 2003-04 season, Ashleigh Chamberlain was a high-efficiency post presence for BYU, leading the Cougars with a .533 field-goal percentage, 25 blocks, and 5.6 rebounds per game while starting 19 of 29 games. She fit as a rugged interior defender and rebounder who could finish around the rim and quietly tilt possessions with second-chance work. The big appeal: dependable effort, strong positional size at center, and a game built on defense, rebounding, and efficiency rather than flash.
