Jahki Howard arrived at Utah as a former four-star, 6-foot-6 wing with real pop as a slasher and athlete, and he flashed that upside after coming from Auburn. But his Utah stint was extremely brief: he appeared in just six games in the 2025-26 season before leaving the program in January to attend to family matters, averaging 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds. The appeal is obvious—length, transition speed, and energy—but the fit depends on whether a staff wants to bet on a still-developing, high-ceiling forward who has yet to show sustained production or consistency.
