Brett Itterman was a high-motor, assignment-sound linebacker for NDSU
In the 2005 season, Brett Itterman emerged as a productive, physical linebacker for North Dakota State, posting 22 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and an interception in an all-11-games campaign, with a breakout nine-tackle, two-sack performance against South Dakota State. He was also recognized as a team captain and a great West Conference Defensive Player of the Week, which hints at leadership, toughness, and trustworthiness beyond the box score. If you want a steady, hard-nosed LB who can create negative plays and bring veteran steadiness, he fits the bill.
