Long-time Tennessee Tech edge defender who wins with experience and toughness
Tommie McBride is a seasoned Tennessee Tech defender with a long track record in the program, appearing on the Golden Eagles’ all-time football participants list for 2009-12 and showing durability across multiple seasons[14][8]. He’s best viewed as a high-effort, assignment-sound edge player rather than a splash-stat star; historical team materials list him at 6-1, 245 as a senior DE, and prior notes show he earned a starting role early in his career by quickly grasping new responsibilities[8][2]. If you want a dependable, experienced front-seven piece with football IQ and grit, he’s the kind of player coaches usually love.
