Cinthya Rivas brings veteran size, rebound work, and interior toughness to McNeese
Rivas is a 6'2" frontcourt veteran who has been a steady depth-and-defense piece for McNeese, with her best documented impact coming on the glass and as a shot-blocking presence; in 2017-18 she averaged 1.8 rebounds per game, posted a career-high 11 rebounds, and added four blocks in one game, while earlier seasons showed she could help fill in when injuries hit the Cowgirls’ interior rotation.[1] Her value is less about scoring and more about physicality, hustle, and reliability—good traits if you need a hardworking post who can absorb contact, rebound, and keep the paint competitive.[1]
