Derik Hall brings physical, playmaking secondary upside to NAU
Derik Hall is a hard-hitting Northern Arizona safety with a two-way background and a reputation for toughness, versatility, and a nose for the ball. In high school, he was a Southern Arizona Division II Defensive Player of the Year who also starred on offense, which hints at strong athletic feel and competitive edge. He fits best as a tone-setter in the back end: active, instinctive, and willing to do the dirty work. The main appeal is his intensity and multi-sport-style athleticism rather than pure measurables.
