Matthew Baney brings proven tackling production and a linebacker’s downhill instincts to Saint Francis
Baney profiles as a high-motor linebacker with a track record of piling up tackles, including 82 as a junior and 109 as a senior before arriving at Saint Francis University, which points to reliable run support and consistent effort. The key reason to care: he looks like a physical, assignment-sound defender who can stabilize the middle of a defense. Based on the available information, he is a fit for teams that value toughness, pursuit, and steady production over flash.
