Bearcats’ veteran presence with a defensive edge
Rodney Crawford is a Cincinnati-grown Bearcats forward whose profile is defined more by toughness, defense, and basketball IQ than box-score flash. In his Cincinnati playing days, he was praised as one of the team’s top defensive players and helped the Bearcats go 56-14 across the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons, including a 31-4 senior year that reached as high as No. 5 in the AP poll. If you value a gritty, team-first fit who knows the program and brings edge, he checks a lot of boxes.
