Hayley Berfield brings seasoned guard toughness and shot-making pop to High Point
Berfield is the kind of guard coaches love: a proven scorer with range, steady playmaking, and a reputation for defensive activity. In her 2020-21 junior-college season at Iowa Western, she averaged 10.8 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.9 steals, then carried that disruptive edge into Division I stops, including a 15-point, 7-rebound, 4-assist outing for Alaska Anchorage in January 2023. She was also a John R. Wooden City Section Player of the Year in high school, which says a lot about her pedigree. If your team wants a savvy, competitive backcourt piece who can tilt momentum, she’s a strong fit.
