Mercer guard Sarah Russell brings rebounding edge and backcourt versatility
Sarah Russell is a Mercer guard whose value goes beyond scoring: she’s been recognized for reaching 500 rebounds, a rare marker for a perimeter player and a strong sign of effort, physicality, and board-crashing instincts. That kind of guard is useful for teams that want toughness, possession value, and hustle in the backcourt. Publicly available recruiting and player pages also list her as a 5'9" wing-sized guard with multi-position versatility, which suggests lineup flexibility and matchup utility.
