Grant Jolly’s fastball is a work in progress — but the upside is real
Grant Jolly is a 6-foot-1, right-handed sophomore at Marshall who was a 2024–25 Ohio prep standout and has already shown feel for getting outs with a lively changeup and slider, plus the toughness to attack the zone and finish games. In summer ball in 2026, he threw a seven-inning two-hit shutout and was praised for having ‘everything working,’ which is a nice little neon sign for a pitcher still building his college résumé. He appears to have been redshirted in 2026, so his fit is more about long-term upside than immediate stats-padding fireworks.
