Akron WR with local roots and early-career upside
Jalen Knight is an Akron-area wide receiver for the Zips whose profile is more about long-term upside than proven production, since Akron’s roster page shows limited game action early in his career and ESPN lists him as a 2026 Akron receiver. He matters because hometown players can bring extra buy-in, familiarity, and developmental patience, but there isn’t enough public statistical evidence in the available sources to call him a finished product or a clear immediate impact starter.
