Baryn Houston brings veteran size and low-usage toughness to Alabama A&M
Baryn Houston’s profile is built on length, experience, and role-player grit rather than big box-score fireworks: ESPN lists him as a guard for Alabama A&M at 6-7 with current season averages of 1.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.2 assists, while his career marks sit at 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.[1][5] He’s the kind of guy coaches like for wing size, academic steadiness, and hustle—Alabama A&M also recognized him on its SWAC All-Academic team—so he fits best as a depth piece who can defend multiple spots and keep the floor organized, not as a featured scorer.[8][14]
