Georgia Southern Guard with Elite FG% and Calm Late-Game Presence
Jacob Sowers, a 5'11" guard from Alpharetta, GA, stands out for his exceptional 62.5% field goal percentage during the 2020-21 season, averaging 2.4 points in just five games. His differentiator isn't volume scoring but his ice-in-veins intensity: he made two crucial free throws in the final 1:47 of a 2H game against ULL, showcasing a calm, reliable personality under pressure. While his stats are modest (0.4 REB, 0.1 AST), his 50% 3P% and 54.5% overall FG% reveal a high-efficiency shooter who doesn't force bad shots. He has no known injury history, and his LinkedIn confirms he remained active in basketball post-2021. For a team needing a steady, low-mistake guard who thrives in late-game scenarios, Sowers is a perfect fit—especially if you value efficiency over flash. You should care because he’s the quiet leader who delivers when the clock ticks down.
