Ian Olsen brings proven big-play production and a frame that fits Furman’s WR room
Ian Olsen arrives at Furman with a strong high-school résumé: at IMG Academy in 2024-25, he posted 1,134 receiving yards, 66 catches, and 13 receiving touchdowns, then joined the Paladins as a 6-foot, 200-pound freshman/redshirt freshman wideout. His calling card is easy to see—efficient vertical production and red-zone finishing—but the bigger differentiator is the IMG pedigree and championship experience, including international game exposure, which suggests he’s been tested in a high-standard environment. Furman’s roster page lists no current college stats yet, so he looks more like a developmental upside add than a finished product.
