Durable DB with Tackling Prowess from Indiana State to NSIC Standout
Hameed Oyedele, a gritty defensive back, flashed reliability at Indiana State in 2019 with 32 tackles (16 solo) across all 12 games and six starts, ranking 10th on the team. Transferring to SMSU in 2021, he exploded for a team-high 51 tackles (2 TFL), and at Bemidji State that year, he led BSU in tackles in seven games while among the top two in 10—showcasing elite hustle, run support, and coverage instincts as a kick returner too. No recent stats post-2021, but his ironman durability and blue-collar intensity make him a plug-and-play fit for teams needing tough, versatile secondary depth.
