Ethan Willoughby brings steady middle-infield bat-and-glove value to SIUE
Willoughby is a proven, high-usage SIUE infielder who has been a lineup regular and produced across multiple seasons, highlighted by a .309 average in 2024 and a .261 mark in 2025 with team-leading triples and strong late-season production. He looks like a fit for teams that value toughness, consistency, and positional flexibility more than flash: he’s already logged extensive starts at both first and third base, and scouting reports show a right-handed infielder with solid defensive actions, a live arm, and playable athleticism. The bat appears to trend upward when he’s locked in.
