Under-the-radar Davidson DL with real upside
Funderburg looks like a physical, high-motor defensive lineman who brings value through effort, toughness, and versatility more than flash, making him the kind of player coaches trust to hold up the front and do the dirty work. Available reporting is limited, so there is no strong public stat profile to lean on, but his presence in Davidson’s football pipeline suggests a developing contributor rather than a finished product. If your team wants an active, coachable lineman who can fit a disciplined scheme and keep improving, he’s a reasonable fit.
