SDSU's David Velasquez Is a Longtime Backcourt Presence, But Not a Current Player
David Velasquez appears in San Diego State and ESPN listings as a guard, but the available sources primarily identify him as a longtime San Diego State assistant coach rather than an active player, so there is no reliable current performance profile to evaluate. If you’re assessing fit, the only clear takeaway is that the public record does not support player-level production, rankings, or on-court strengths for the current season; for roster decisions, he should be treated as a coaching staff profile, not a basketball prospect.
