Reliable Nebraska run-stopper with veteran edge
Stoltenberg was a 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman for Nebraska whose value came from his size, point-of-attack strength, and steady, physical presence rather than flashy stat production.[1][6] Over his Husker career, he played in 41 games and recorded 69 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one interception, with his strongest season coming in 2017 when he logged 33 tackles.[2][3][4] The differentiator is reliability: he was viewed as an indispensable part of Nebraska’s defensive front and earned team-captain status as a senior, signaling toughness, leadership, and trustworthiness in a fit where discipline and run defense matter.[5][9]
