Coy Williams was Davidson’s efficient, touchdown-heavy chain mover
Coy Williams closed his Davidson career as a bruising, high-efficiency runner: in the 2022 season, he rushed for 791 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games, finishing second all-time at Davidson in yards per carry (5.78) and rushing scores (36). He stands out as a sturdy 6-foot, 215-pound back who paired burst with finishing power, including a 75-yard run and four two-touchdown games in 2022. If you want a back who can punish tacklers, stay productive, and deliver in the red zone, Williams looks like a very strong fit.
