local Cleveland State guard with size and system familiarity
Liam Doup is a 6-1 guard from Lakewood, Ohio who gives Cleveland State a homegrown, sturdy backcourt option with clear familiarity in the program. Publicly available data shows limited recent box-score production, so his appeal is less about flashy stat lines and more about roster fit, depth, and readiness to execute in a guard role. At this stage, he profiles as a team-first, low-drama piece rather than a high-usage scorer, making him more relevant for coaches who value reliable practice habits, positional size, and local toughness.
