Kansas Safety With Special-Teams Grit and Development Upside
Andrew Russell is a Kansas defensive back/safety prospect whose profile is built on special-teams value and developmental depth rather than headline stats; he previously earned a varsity letter at Michigan by appearing in three games on special teams in the 2021 season, which suggests a player trusted for effort and assignment discipline. His fit is strongest for teams that want a reliable, physical roster piece who can contribute in multiple phases while continuing to grow into a larger defensive role.
