High-Octane INF with Elite Speed & Base-Running Instincts for Ole Miss
Izzy Rettiger (Ole Miss, INF) is a 5'9" left-handed freshman whose **elite speed** and **aggressive base-running** make her a game-changer, evidenced by her 18 runs scored in the 2026 season despite a .000 batting average. Her differentiators include **pinch-running intensity** (advancing to third on wild pitches) and a **club softball pedigree** where she led in OPS, runs, and stolen bases. While her offensive stats are nascent, her **intangibles**—head-up base running, relentless hustle, and a .455 career high school hit rate—signal a player who **elevates team momentum** instantly. She is a **perfect fit** for teams needing a high-energy, speed-first INF who creates chaos on the bases and thrives in clutch moments, like her key role in Ole Miss's upset over No. 4 Tennessee.
