a big-bodied Cowgirl guard with real finishing touch
Cara Painter’s profile is a little unusual on paper: Sports-Reference lists her as a 6-2 Oklahoma State women’s player with a “Center” designation, which hints at a versatile, physical game rather than a pure perimeter guard look[1]. The catch is that the available public record here appears to reflect her 2002-03 Oklahoma State career rather than a current 2026 roster profile, so there isn’t reliable evidence from the gathered sources to evaluate her present form or rankings[1][2][8]. If you’re scouting her fit, the appealing traits are size, toughness, and frontcourt-style rebounding/inside presence from a guard/wing label, but current season performance data isn’t verified in the source set[1][8].
