Virginia Tech DL Xavier Burke: high-upside local prospect with verified size and early production
Burke is a Virginia Tech defensive lineman from Lawrenceville, Virginia, listed at 6-3, 265 and rated as a top-5 national defensive lineman recruit in his class, which signals real upside and Power-5 fit.[5] His available stat line shows early on-field production rather than eye-popping pass-rush numbers—2 solo tackles and no sacks—so the appeal is more about frame, development potential, and how he can grow into a disruptive interior force than instant box-score dominance.[1][3]
