Reliable LIU veteran DB with size and steady game experience
In the 2023 season, Javal Staton was a 6'5", 195-pound senior defensive back for LIU, which immediately jumps off the page for his length and matchup flexibility. Stat lines were modest, but that often signals a role built on coverage responsibilities, discipline, and helping a secondary stay organized rather than chasing splash plays. For a team looking for a tall DB with veteran presence, he looks like a fit if you value size, experience, and positional steadiness over headline-grabbing production.
