compact Rhode Island back with proven workload and tough running style
Travis Hurd is a Rhode Island running back whose value shows up in workload and reliability: the 2024 team notes list him with 112 rushing attempts, placing him among the Rams’ primary ball carriers that season. He is a smaller, compact back at 5-8, 180 pounds, which usually points to a low center of gravity and a physical, tackle-breaking style rather than pure size-based power. If you want a back who can handle touches and fit a balanced offense, Hurd looks like a steady depth piece with real game experience.
