Stetson DB Davion Maxwell brings production, tackling range, and turnover creation
Davion Maxwell is a reliable, physical Stetson defensive back whose 2023 season production stood out: 69 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2 passes defended, and a forced fumble in nine games, earning PFL Honor Roll recognition.[4] His value goes beyond box-score stats—he shows strong run support, plays with steady effort, and has the versatility to affect plays near the line of scrimmage as well as in coverage.[4] For a team, he profiles as a high-motor DB who fits best in a defense that prizes toughness, tackling, and disruptive back-end play.[4][5]
