No Trace of Logan Turner as SMU Mustangs QB – Search Yields Kickers & Old QBs, Not Mustangs Star
Extensive checks across ESPN, team sites, and athletics databases reveal no current or recent Logan Turner playing QB for the SMU Mustangs; instead, a standout placekicker by that name earned 1st team All-American honors (Don Hansen, 2023) at D2 Southwest Baptist, nailing clutch kicks with precision, while a 2012 Hardin-Simmons transfer QB shares the name but is long gone. No stats, rankings, or analysis tie to SMU – if this is your guy, he might be under the radar or mislisted, but zero differentiators like arm talent or mobility pop for Mustangs fit.
