veteran Missouri safety with proven big-play instincts
Brandon Massey is a seasoned Missouri safety whose value shows up in the dirty work: in the 2006 season, he posted 61 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, and 3 pass breakups, giving the Tigers a reliable last-line defender with playmaking chops.[2][13] Earlier Missouri coverage described him as a spring standout and an early favorite for a starting role, which points to a player trusted for preparation, toughness, and football IQ rather than just flash.[6][10]
