veteran UAB floor general with assist-first savvy and late-game poise
In the 2000-01 season, Bass was a steady 6-3 senior guard for UAB, ranking 10th on the program’s all-time assists list with 270 and starting every game while averaging 15.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in one game note set. He stood out as a two-way, pass-first leader who could still take over late—UAB noted his scoring burst down the stretch against LaSalle and his career-high 21-point nights. The fit is clear: if you want a composed backcourt connector with toughness, experience, and clutch instincts, Bass is your guy.
