Cat Almeida brings size, touch, and academic grit to Quinnipiac’s frontcourt
Cat Almeida is a 6-foot-5 forward/center whose value goes beyond box-score lines: Quinnipiac has praised her for interior presence, finishing with both hands, and efficient trail-three shooting, a nice little unicorn package for a big. In her strongest recent listed season, she posted 6.0 points per game with 2.3 rebounds in 22.7 minutes while starting 12 of 21 games, and she also earned multiple MAAC All-Academic honors. If your team wants a skilled, stretch-capable big with maturity and system fit, she’s the kind of low-drama, high-fit player coaches tend to love.
