veteran UAPB guard with a low-usage, defensive-mindset profile
Mercy Blanco is a returning guard for UAPB, but the available public data is limited and does not show current-season box-score production, so her value is best read through profile rather than raw numbers. In her listed college season, she was a 5-8 freshman guard from Dallas who gave brief minutes and showed the ability to chip in assists, including a three-assist game against Philander Smith. That suggests a steady, low-mistake backcourt piece more than a volume scorer—useful if a team needs a poised, depth guard who can plug into a system and do the small things.
