hard-nosed VMI linebacker with football-coaching roots
Weston Reber is a VMI football name to watch because his background suggests he brings coaching-level football IQ, discipline, and a detail-oriented approach from his time transitioning out of coaching and into business development after serving as a defensive backs coach and quality control analyst. That profile points to a player who likely fits best in a system that values communication, preparation, and assignment soundness over flash, making him an appealing add for teams that want a reliable, mentally sharp defensive presence.
