Dusty Frampton brings Cal Poly a tough, high-upside fullback with proven backfield juice
Dusty Frampton’s draw is his old-school power with burst: at Saint Mary’s High in 2017, he rushed for 1,648 yards and 24 touchdowns after 2,345 yards and 42 scores in 2016, and Cal Poly’s staff called him an “explosively great player” coming in as a big tailback/fullback fit. He was also viewed as ready to contribute after rehabbing an ACL tear, which makes him more than a stat line—he’s a physical, tone-setting piece for a run-heavy identity, especially if your team wants a versatile FB who can grind, finish, and punish tacklers.
